The Connecticut Metropolitan Council of Governments (MetroCOG) has contracted with licensed, qualified and experienced digital consulting firms to provide no-cost web-design, marketing and other digital consulting services to small businesses in the MetroCOG region. Funding is made available for this program via the United States Economic Development Administration (US EDA) and the Connecticut Department of Economic & Community Development (DECD). Eligible small business applicants must have their business based within the City of Bridgeport and/or Towns of Easton, Fairfield, Stratford, Monroe, and Trumbull. These digital web services will provide opportunities to improve small business operations and services impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Digital service improvements will increase small business resiliency, provide growth opportunities, and increase engagement between businesses and their customers. In order to qualify for this program, businesses must be registered with the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS). Once a web application is complete, all requirements are met for eligibility with the program, and a business has been selected, MetroCOG will contact the business to discuss the program in more detail. Applications will be reviewed and selected on a rolling basis as funds for this program are available. Please note, completing this application does not guarantee your business will be selected as part of this program. Please contact Devin Clarke (dclarke@ctmetro.org) with any questions.
