MetroCOG and WestCOG have developed the Southwest Connecticut Climate Action Plan, a Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP) through the US EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) Program. The Plan builds upon the Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP) released in March 2024 to include a holistic inventory of greenhouse gas emissions in the Bridgeport-Norwalk-Stamford Metropolitan Statistical Area, recommended measures through which emissions can be reduced, and provides guidance on implementing sector-specific reduction measures.
